I finally chose to move all my winter season clothes to storage and dust off my go-to summer T-shirts, tank tops, linen trousers, and shorts. I enjoy layering so I normally choose fall and winter season dressing, but last year, I made it a point to put more effort into my summer closet. One of my favorite pieces that made for a fantastic base layer for numerous of my summertime clothing was this Artfish Tank Top on Amazon.
The tank top is available in 38 colors, black, blue, brown, beige, and white, and sizes vary from XS to L. It features thin overlapping straps, and it’s made from a thick product that avoids it from looking sheer in lighter tones. The fit is close to the body with a length that stops at the hip, the fabric is a stretchy rib, and it has actually a scooped neckline in the front and back.

Being a previous tank leading designer, I’m incredibly critical of the tank tops that I purchase. I try to find the density of the product and the straps, the cut of the neckline, the length, and the scoop of the armholes. So upon a quick scan of the Artfish tank top listing, it looked lovely on the model and all the information I searched for were up to standard to something I would purchase.
After receiving IRL, I was impressed by how thick the fabric was while still feeling light-weight and breathable. It wasn’t sheer, even in the lighter colors in direct sunlight, and the straps had just the right amount of thickness so they didn’t dig into my shoulders however weren’t so thick that they felt large. Its neckline is scooped perfectly and the length is ideal for tucking or scrunching so it looks more cropped.
I primarily included this tank top to my cart since I needed a quality tank top that might be quickly styled. I’ve been able to make a wide variety of attire with this, including styling it with my shorts with my Adidas Sambas for casual daily wear, under a button-up t-shirt with linen trousers, and even with a matching skirt or pants to consider that elevated matching set feel.
