I’m Refreshing My Summer Wardrobe With These Sweat-Wicking Tenniscore Staples

If you saw the most popular movie of the year, Oppositions, and were unexpectedly inspired to modify your whole closet in an effort to dress like Zendaya, you’re not alone. I am all of a sudden all-in for tenniscore; tennis skirts and gowns to deceive people into believing I’m a lot more stylish than I truly am is completely my summer 2024 ambiance– and I believe you’ll be obsessed, too.

If you’re not familiar with tenniscore, it’s really easy. As is the case with the ever-popular balletcore trend, which draws inspiration from, well, ballet and ballerinas, tenniscore is all about court-inspired style staples that can be used to play tennis, but also IRL. Details ultimate to tennis outfit, like pleats, stripes, court sneakers, and more are all level playing field when it concerns tenniscore, and I’m revamping my whole closet to include the previously mentioned staples– tennis racket not consisted of. Sorry not sorry.
Women Wearing Tenniscore Inspired Outfits
The thing I enjoy most about tennis-focused fashion is that it’s a simple way to look created yet remain comfy when running errands or overtaking a good friend– and all without the requirement to place on a “genuine outfit.” Believe: pleated skirts, elastic dresses, collared tops, and striped sweaters that are equivalent parts chic, comfortable, and sweat resistant. If you reside in New York City, you understand that summertime’s can get steamy, so sweat-wicking clothing is a no-brainer. However, I absolutely get if you don’t always want to wear your leggings– that’s where the preppy tenniscore styles enter into play, literally.

So, if you’re in the market for a charming clothing that produces the illusion of having some major court skills (even if you do not!), look no further than some of my favorite tennis-inspired essentials, ahead.

FP Movement Easy Does It Dress
While this FP Movement gown is technically developed for exercising, as it’s a polyester-elastane mix, you can easily use it out and about this summer without ever perspiring. It features a drawstring information at the waist, raising it above some other tennis dresses on the marketplace, and an open back information, allowing you to truly feel the rain on your skin and launch your inhibitions. I imagine this with cute, metal Mary Janes for an unanticipated attire that’s certain to get you limitless compliments.

Alo Yoga Grand Slam Tennis Skirt
An excellent tennis skirt will take you to the court, a hot woman walk with a pal, and even the club when coupled with the right top. I enjoy the pleats on this one, and there are built-in shorts so you can even stash your tennis ball; if you’re striking the town, you can fit your keys, ID, chomp stick– I don’t judge.

Reformation Francesco Cotton Polo Sweater
Not just is this Reformation polo sweatshirt super comfy, but it also includes the best touch of tennis-player trendy to any clothing. I’m also consumed with the matching pleated mini skirt.

Staud Court Cross-Court Two-Tone Mini Dress
While this dress from Staud may be a little bit of a splurge, envision how adorable you ‘d look set down on the stands at Wimbledon or the United States Open. It’s extremely comfy and comes in two tones: green and white and black and white.
